Writing Tips When Writing a Title in an Essay

Writing Tips When Writing a Title in an EssayWhen writing a title in an essay, it's good to think outside the box. So instead of just using words that already exist, such as quote, bold, or double bold, try putting some thought into them. I like to use particular words in a sentence and title that way when writing, you get the benefit of using one of those words, while still having them stand out from the rest of the sentence. But what if you're using words like these: my, that, the me, myself, I, whom, or who? Are you sure that these aren't going to be too common for this essay? So how do you choose which words to put? First of all, before putting the word that into an essay title, you have to realize how this word is used. For example, if you're writing an essay on childbirth, would you call it that or would you call it, a birthing? The answer, obviously, is, neither, because they don't do anything but describe the action itself. But then again, maybe you need to come up with a new ti tle for your essay, and you find out later that you are talking about two different things, that you need to change that and add it to the title. Then the only person to answer your question is yourself. If it fits your essay, that's great, but if it doesn't, then move on.There are many times when you need to use a title in an essay in place of a phrase that is very common. For example, when I wrote a term paper on pizza recipes, and I got to the end and realized that I was writing about the ingredients, not the taste, I changed the title to...One of the biggest mistakes that I made, is that I put the name of my first grade teacher on the title, and I ended up with a paragraph that wasn't even coherent, which is a great way to fail an essay. So take a deep breath and think about the problem that you're trying to solve, instead of letting something, such as the name of your teacher, push your essay over the edge. Writing is a mental exercise, so why not make the most of it by putting your mind into overdrive.
